Introducing the Mahindra Veero LCV: Pricing, Powertrain, and Key Features Revealed !

The Mahindra Veero, a new light commercial vehicle (LCV) from Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., is priced at ₹7.99 lakh. The car is a component of the company’s endeavor to fortify its position in the sub-3.5-ton market by providing a variety of powertrain choices and concentrating on urban transportation options.
The Urban Prosper Platform (UPP) of the firm, which the manufacturer states is India’s first multi-energy modular platform for commercial vehicles, serves as the foundation for the Mahindra Veero. The Veero is available in diesel, CNG, and electric versions, meeting a variety of logistical needs. It can support payloads weighing between one and two tonnes across various deck lengths.

According to reports, the CNG version reaches 19.2 km/kg with a certified range of over 500 km, while the diesel-powered option offers 18.4 km/l.

The LCV is equipped with a 26.03 cm touchscreen infotainment system with steering-mounted controls, a reverse parking camera, and driver-side airbags. Power windows are one of the elements that are intended to improve driver convenience. The vehicle is suitable for small- to medium-sized transportation jobs due to its 1,600 kg payload capacity and 3035 mm cargo length.

The Veero’s dimensions include a 5.1-meter turning radius, which should make navigating through urban traffic easier. Mahindra has additionally integrated iMAXX connected technologies, allowing fleet managers to track vehicle performance via a mobile application. With six Indian languages supported, a larger user base can utilize the program.

A 1.5-liter mDI diesel engine or a turbocharged mCNG engine, both capable of producing 210 Nm of torque, are available for the Veero. The CNG version generates 67.2 kW of power, compared to 59.7 kW from the diesel engine.
A standard three-year/1 lakh mile guarantee that comes with the Veero may provide some comfort to prospective purchasers who are worried about maintenance and long-term costs.
