Vivo introduced the Vivo X Fold 2 exclusively in China in April of this year. However, the company is now preparing to release the next iteration of its foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold 3. Regarding the leaks that emerged on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, it is rumored that the Vivo X Fold 3 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Additionally, the foldable phone is said to have a 2K display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Similar to the recently launched X series flagship phones, the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, in China, the Vivo X Fold 3 is expected to come with an LTPO display. However, it is worth noting that the X100 Pro specifically boasts an 8T LTPO display.
The leaks also indicate that the X Fold 3 will weigh only 250 grams, which is lighter compared to the previous weight of 279 grams. Furthermore, the Vivo X Fold 3 is believed to support 100W wired charging speeds and 50W wireless charging.
