“Will Nitish Kumar Become Deputy PM? India Alliance Extends Offer – Will He Leave NDA?”

New Delhi. As per reports, Congress leaders have reached out to Bihar CM and Janata Dal (United) Chief Nitish Kumar. It has been rumored that Nitish Kumar has been offered the position of Deputy Prime Minister. A tweet by a SP leader on X stated that Nitish Kumar will rejoin the All India Alliance. This tweet by the SP leader has gained attention at a time when the NDA is facing challenges in crossing the 300-seat mark. Samajwadi Party’s I.P. Singh mentioned in a post on X that ‘Nitish was ours, is ours, and will always be ours. Jai Sita Ram.’ There are also reports that Sharad Pawar has phoned Nitish Kumar and had a conversation with him.

Nevertheless, NCP chief Sharad Pawar categorically denied having any discussion with Nitish Kumar. It was reported that following BJP’s failure to secure a majority on its own, the process of government formation has commenced. Earlier reports suggested that Sharad Pawar had proposed the position of Deputy Prime Minister to Nitish Kumar and assured Chandrababu Naidu of granting special status to Andhra Pradesh. Sources indicate that the Congress leadership is in communication with the leadership of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Janata Dal (United) (JDU). It was mentioned that Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar have been approached, particularly after the Lok Sabha election results.

In the midst of the Lok Sabha election outcomes, Sharad Pawar expressed, “I did not anticipate such a result. I have only interacted with Congress members thus far and have not engaged with anyone else.” Sharad Pawar remarked that today’s result will serve as motivation for us in the upcoming assembly elections. The public has responded to the environment created for the Ram temple. Several positive developments have occurred in this election. We are leading in seven constituencies where we all contested together. Achieving a strike rate of seven out of ten is quite commendable. The three parties are united. We will remain united and progress together to serve Maharashtra.
