Virat Kohli continued his remarkable run of form, scoring a record-breaking his 50th One Day International (ODI) against New Zealand in the semi-final match of India’s 2023 ICC World Cup on Wednesday.
Kohli is 35 years old and has broken many records across all formats of the sport. He continues to break records and will do so again in the ongoing ODIs World Cup. Amongst other things, Kohli has the highest number of international runs among modern players.
He also became only the third Indian batsman to score 600 in a single edition of the World Cup on Wednesday. It was Tendulkar’s 673 runs in the 2003 edition, when India finished runners-up, and Rohit Sharma’s 648 runs in the 2019 edition.
