The Iranian ambassador expelled by Pakistan, in response, Pakistan has recalled its envoy following an ‘unprovoked’ missile strike!

The Iranian envoy has been expelled and Pakistan has called back its ambassador following a missile strike that resulted in the tragic deaths of two children. According to reports from local media, the attack occurred near Panjgur in southwest Balochistan and left three others injured. Tehran has stated that two bases belonging to Jaish al-Adl militants in Balochistan province were destroyed on Tuesday, although they have not taken responsibility for the incident. This development is occurring amidst a growing crisis in the Middle East, primarily driven by the ongoing war in Gaza.

In a statement, spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch expressed her concern over Iran’s flagrant and unprovoked violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty last night. This act not only goes against international law but also undermines the principles and objectives outlined in the Charter of the United Nations. According to officials in Panjgur, four missiles were launched in the village of Koh-i-Sabaz, which is situated approximately 50 km inside Pakistani territory. Tragically, this attack resulted in the destruction of a mosque and three houses, as well as the loss of two young girls’ lives and injuries to three other family members.

In the meantime, Iranian state media initially reported, but later retracted without providing any clarification, that the paramilitary Revolutionary Guard had directed their focus towards the bases. During his address at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian openly acknowledged Tehran’s responsibility for the attacks in Pakistan.
