After two successful weeks of its release, actor and politician “Thalapathy” Vijay is relishing the success of his most recent movie, The Greatest of All Time. Fans of “Thalapathy” are predicted to be even more excited by the impending unveiling of his next project, “Thalapathy 69.”
With this movie, it is expected that Thalapathy will ‘end’ his acting career and dedicate all of his attention to his political responsibilities. DH has discovered that the film will be directed by H Vinoth, who is well known for his work on Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru (2017), Nerkonda Paarvai (2019), Valimai (2022), and Thunivu (2023). Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music for the film.
There are rumors that Simran and Thalapathy Vijay would get back together after a 24-year break, and that Premalu, better known by her stage name Mamitha Baiju, from Kerala, will be featured prominently in the movie.Rumor has it that Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, who previously starred alongside Vijay in Jilla (2014), will also feature in the movie. After ten years apart, “Shivan and Shakti” return for Thalapathy 69, a full-fledged action thriller. Under the auspices of KVN Productions, Venkat K Narayana will produce the film. DH has learned that “Thalapathy 69” will begin filming in the first week of October, despite the fact that other facts regarding the movie are being kept under wraps.
In February 2024, Thalapathy declared his political party. He declined to endorse any political party in the run-up to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The goal of the party, according to Vijay at the launch, is to run for and win the 2026 Assembly elections.
