According to sources, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is contemplating legal action against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders in response to allegations made by Delhi minister Atishi. Atishi, during a press conference, made claims of the central agency deleting audio clips related to witness statements in various cases, including the excise policy probe involving AAP members. She further challenged the agency to present CCTV videos in court regarding the money laundering case linked to the Delhi excise policy. Atishi accused the ED of lacking solid evidence and resorting to deleting audio recordings to conceal fraudulent activities. She questioned the agency’s intentions and demanded transparency regarding the number of statements taken, recorded in CCTV footage, and with audio. Atishi also accused the ED of conducting raids on AAP leaders as a means to intimidate the party. Despite numerous raids over the past two years, the ED has failed to recover any money or present concrete evidence, despite repeated requests from the court.
