New Delhi: The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has threatened Salman Khan once more. According to authorities, the Mumbai Police received a WhatsApp message on Monday night stating that the actor had two choices if he wished to survive: either pay ₹ 5 crore or apologize at a temple.
Salman Khan has received two death threats in as many days.
Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s name appeared in a threatening message sent to the Mumbai Police traffic control room. According to the message conveyed to the traffic control room, “Salman Khan should go to our temple and apologize or give ₹ 5 crore if he wants to survive,” according to Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother. Our group is still active, and if he doesn’t, we’ll kill him.”
The message is being looked into by the police.
Mumbai traffic control received a similar threat against Mr. Khan last week on October 30, requesting ₹2 crore. Soon after, Bandra East resident Azam Mohammad Mustafa was taken into custody.
A 20-year-old tattoo artist from Noida named Gufran Khan was previously detained for threatening Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddique, the MLA for Bandra East.
Salman Khan has already received several death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, reportedly as a result of his involvement in the Rajasthani blackbuck hunting case while the Bollywood film Hum Saath Saath Hain was being filmed.
In April, suspected gang members had fired fire outside the actor’s Bandra residence.
