Salaar, the movie starring Prabhas, has had a strong box office collection in India and worldwide during its first weekend. The film made an impressive entry on Friday, earning Rs 90.7 crore and surpassing Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which earned Rs 89.5 crore on its opening day, to become the biggest opener of 2023. However, Salaar experienced a decline of 37 percent on Saturday, collecting Rs 56.35 crore. Fortunately, it regained momentum on Sunday with a more than 13 percent increase, reaching Rs 64.07 crore. Despite its strong performance, Salaar fell short of outperforming Jawan, which earned Rs 188.8 crore in its first weekend in India. In comparison, Salaar accumulated a total of Rs 120.42 crore domestically.
