“Sainz Weighs Options for 2025: ‘I Haven’t Made My Mind Up Yet’ Ahead of Monaco GP”

Carlos Sainz has dismissed any worries about potentially missing out on positive options by taking his time to carefully consider his choices for 2025. Amidst recent driver market movements, such as Alonso and Albon staying put and Hulkenberg switching teams, all attention remains on Sainz’s decision for the upcoming season. Despite the anticipation from others, Sainz is not rushing to set a deadline for his next move.

The 29-year-old driver expressed his belief that the Formula 1 driver market operates in a circular manner, with everyone depending on each other. He stated that he has not yet made a decision regarding his racing plans for next year and has not set any deadlines for himself. However, he emphasized the importance of this decision at this stage of his career and the need to carefully consider all options. As he approaches his 30th birthday, he wants to ensure that the next project he undertakes is a successful one. Therefore, he will take as much time as necessary to make the right choice. When asked about the possibility of missing out on projects due to teams setting their own deadlines, he jokingly mentioned that he is privy to more information behind the scenes. He assured that he will not reveal any details prematurely and will carefully evaluate all options before making a decision.

Once he has made up his mind, he expects things to progress swiftly. It is worth noting that several seats on the 2025 grid are still undecided, with only Ferrari and McLaren having confirmed their complete line-ups for the next season.
