Roads of Ayodhya Sank in Rain: Monsoon Submerges Neighborhoods!

The development claims made by officials in Ayodhya have been exposed as the city faced challenges during the first monsoon rain. The roads started sinking and the locality got flooded, making it difficult for residents to leave their homes. More than 20 places from Sahadatganj to Naya Ghat experienced road collapses. This has raised questions about the city’s preparedness for devotees visiting during the rainy season. On the other hand, the Hanuman Kund Ward of Ayodhya Municipal Corporation is considered special, being connected to the Ram temple and a model railway station with a high influx of devotees. However, the Jalwanpura Colony between the main gate of the temple and the railway station got submerged in the first rain, causing waterlogging in the houses of residents.

Chandraprakash Srivastava, a resident of the local area, claims that both the public representatives and officials have failed to address this situation. Despite multiple letters informing them about the problem, no resolution has been reached thus far.

Likewise, a female devotee from Chandigarh has expressed concerns regarding the development work in Ayodhya. After witnessing the living conditions of the people in this area, she questions the nature of this development. She emphasizes that the priority should be to address the issues faced by the residents living in water.
