While acknowledging the initial broad support for the farm rules, Ranaut emphasized the need to respect Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to rescind them.
“I apologize if my opinions and remarks have let anyone down. I retract what I said,” she continued, highlighting the need for BJP members to support the Prime Minister’s decision as a group.

In a media interview earlier on Tuesday, Ranaut said, “I know this statement could be controversial, but the three farm laws should be brought back.” This was the start of the dispute. Farmers themselves ought to make that demand.”
She contended that although the three laws helped farmers, the Center had revoked them in response to concerns from farmer organizations in several states.
“A key component of the nation’s development is its farming sector. Her words, “For their own good, I want to appeal to them to demand the laws be returned.”
Interestingly, the BJP has previously criticized statements made by the MP for the Lok Sabha. The party issued a statement last month criticizing Kangana Ranaut for her remarks regarding the farmers’ protest and advising the actor-turned-politician to be cautious while making such remarks in the future.
