Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition and Congress MP, alleged on Friday that the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) was preparing to conduct a raid on him following his speech on ‘Chakravyuh’ in the parliament on July 29. The Congress MP mentioned that he had been informed by ‘insiders’ within the ED about the planned raid and expressed his readiness by stating that he was ‘waiting with open arms’.
Mr. Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his speech in the Lok Sabha on July 29, following the Union Budget 2024. He expressed concern for the farmers, workers, and youth of the country.
He expressed his disapproval of Prime Minister Modi for prominently featuring the lotus symbol and asserted that a new ‘Chakravyuh’ has emerged in the 21st century. “Historically, in Kurukshetra, six individuals ensnared Abhimanyu within a ‘Chakravyuh’ leading to his demise. Upon conducting some research, I discovered that ‘Chakravyuh’ is also referred to as ‘Padmavuyh,’ which translates to ‘Lotus formation.’ The structure of ‘Chakravyuh’ resembles a lotus.
In the contemporary era, a new ‘Chakravyuh’ has been established, similarly shaped like a lotus. The Prime Minister prominently displays this symbol on his chest. What transpired with Abhimanyu is now occurring to India—affecting the youth, farmers, women, and small to medium enterprises. Abhimanyu was slain by six individuals. Presently, there are also six key figures at the center of this ‘Chakravyuh’: Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Mohan Bhagwat, Ajit Doval, Ambani, and Adani,” he remarked.
The Leader of Opposition stated that the ‘Chakravyuh’ created by the government is negatively impacting millions of individuals. Anurag Thakur, a Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Lok Sabha, criticized Rahul Gandhi’s comments on Mahabharata and Chakravyuh, suggesting that certain individuals are ‘accidental Hindus’ with accidental knowledge of the epic.
Anurag Thakur criticized Rahul Gandhi’s Chakravyuh statement and commended him for bringing up the topic, citing numerous instances of “Chakravyuhs of Congress Party” in the country. Thakur highlighted 7 Chakravyuhs, with the first being Congress itself for dividing the nation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Anurag Thakur, a BJP leader, for his address in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday, where he responded to Rahul Gandhi’s speech and characterized it as “a perfect blend of facts and humor.”
Prime Minister Modi shared on X that the speech delivered by my dynamic and youthful colleague, Shri @ianuragthakur, is highly recommended. It is a brilliant combination of facts and humor, shedding light on the corrupt politics of the INDI Alliance. The budget session of Parliament commenced on July 22 and is set to conclude on August 12.
