The Prime Minister’s Office has announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to witness a Tri-Services Live Fire and Manoeuvre Exercise called ‘Bharat Shakti’ in Pokhran, Rajasthan. This exercise will showcase a range of indigenous weapon systems and platforms, highlighting the nation’s self-reliance initiative, Aatmanirbharata. The demonstration aims to underscore the country’s prowess and capability in the defense sector.

The upcoming ‘Bharat Shakti’ exercise is set to present a comprehensive simulation of realistic, coordinated operations across multiple domains, showcasing the integrated capabilities of the Indian Armed Forces. The Indian Navy’s participation will emphasize maritime strength and technological sophistication, featuring Naval Anti-Ship Missiles, Autonomous Cargo Carrying Aerial Vehicles, and Expendable Aerial Targets.
Meanwhile, the Indian Air Force will showcase its air superiority and operational versatility with the deployment of indigenously developed assets such as the Light Combat Aircraft Tejas, Light Utility Helicopters, and Advanced Light Helicopters.
