Poco is gearing up for the release of its latest smartphone, the C65, in India on December 15. Exclusive to Flipkart, the phone will mirror the design of its global counterpart and is anticipated to offer matching specifications upon its debut.
As per the details listed on Flipkart’s website, the Poco C65 is set to come in two color choices: Pastel Blue and Matte Black. Additionally, it will boast a dual rear camera arrangement.
The Indian launch of the Poco C65 is scheduled for December 15, and while the official unveiling is yet to happen, insights from the global variant offer a preview of the probable specifications in the upcoming Indian version.
The worldwide edition of the Poco C65 boasts a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display, delivering a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 600 nits. Displaying a waterdrop-shaped notch housing the front-facing camera, the phone’s front glass is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Under the hood, the C65 operates on a Mediatek MT6769Z Helio G85 chipset built on a 12nm process, coupled with a Mali-G52 GPU for managing demanding graphics tasks. As for its camera setup, the Poco C65 features a dual-camera arrangement at the rear, comprising a 50MP primary sensor alongside a 2MP macro sensor. For capturing selfies and facilitating video calls, an 8MP front-facing camera is included. Powering the device is a robust 5,000 mAh battery that supports rapid charging through an 18W PD charger.
In India, the anticipated release of the Poco C65 will likely include two storage options: one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and another with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The global edition of the Poco C65 debuted at $119 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage model. The Indian version is anticipated to launch at a price of under ₹10,000 for the 6GB RAM variant, while the 8GB RAM variant might exceed the ₹10,000 mark.
