It is noteworthy that PM Modi’s visit to Odisha coincides with the birth anniversary of former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik. This visit takes place amidst the growing demand from the BJD to confer the Bharat Ratna upon Biju Patnaik. Many speculate that awarding the Bharat Ratna to Biju Patnaik could potentially bring PM Modi and Naveen Patnaik closer, paving the way for a potential electoral alliance before the upcoming polls.

Version 1: On Monday, Prime Minister Modi commenced a 10-day tour to 12 states and union territories throughout the country. His purpose is to participate in 29 inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremonies. With great enthusiasm, he has been actively revealing numerous development projects worth millions of crores of rupees nationwide. This strategic move aims to highlight his government’s commitment to progress and welfare as the general elections approach in April-May this year.
