“PM Narendra Modi to Launch Upgraded Vande Bharat Express, a High-Speed Train, Today at 2:15 pm”
On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the second Vande Bharat Express, adorned in saffron, linking Varanasi with New Delhi. This train is anticipated to offer convenience to passengers traveling to Prayagraj, Kanpur, and the capital city of New Delhi.
The upcoming launch of the second iteration of the advanced semi-high-speed Vande Bharat Express is scheduled for 2:15 pm. Its route encompasses Prayagraj, Kanpur Central, Itawa, Tundla, and Aligarh before concluding its journey in the national capital. Regular operations for this new Vande Bharat Express service are expected to commence from December 20.
The Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express train’s schedule is set for an early departure, leaving Varanasi at 6 am. It will make stops at Prayagraj at 7:34 am, Kanpur Central at 9:30 am, and finally reach New Delhi at 2:05 pm. On its return journey, the train will depart from New Delhi at 3 pm, reaching Kanpur Central at 7:12 pm, Prayagraj at 9:15 pm, and ultimately concluding its trip in Varanasi at 11:05 pm.
This newly introduced train will operate six days a week, excluding Thursdays.
The existing Vande Bharat Express, currently running between New Delhi and Varanasi, follows a departure from Delhi at 6 am and reaches its final destination at 2 pm. Its return journey from Varanasi begins at 3 pm, reaching New Delhi by 11 pm. This service also operates six days a week, with Thursday as its off day.
