PM Modi reveals the Jatayu statue and bestows flower petals upon the diligent workers responsible for constructing the Ram Temple!

PM Modi paid a visit to the Kuber Tila Shiva temple in Ayodhya during the inauguration of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. He offered prayers to Lord Shiva by performing ‘jalabhishek’ and took a ‘parikrama’ around the temple. The ancient Shiv temple, situated on the Kuber Tila within the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, is currently undergoing renovation by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Additionally, the prime minister unveiled a statue of ‘Jatayu’ on the temple premises. As a gesture of appreciation, he showered flower petals on the dedicated workers involved in the construction of the Ram Temple.

He highlighted that while many countries struggle with their own history, India has successfully overcome its challenges, indicating a promising future ahead.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the construction of the temple, which some believed would ignite controversy, is actually a symbol of peace, patience, harmony, and unity within the country. He highlighted that those who doubted the social spirit of India failed to comprehend its true essence. The temple of Ram Lalla represents the peaceful coexistence, patience, and coordination of Indian society. Contrary to expectations, the construction of the temple has not caused any unrest, but rather generated positive energy. Additionally, the Prime Minister stated that the Ayodhya temple holds great significance as a representation of national consciousness in the form of Lord Ram. During the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, the Prime Minister led the rituals and unveiled the idol of Ram Lalla. He walked inside the temple premises with a silver ‘chattar’ (umbrella) placed on a red folded dupatta. RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were also present during the rituals inside the sanctorum. As the ceremony took place, devotees and guests joyfully chanted ‘Jai Sri Ram’.
