PM Modi has unveiled a groundbreaking solar roof-top initiative aimed at providing solar power to one crore households.

PM Narendra Modi announced the “Pradhanmantri Suryodaya Yojana” scheme, emphasizing its potential to not only alleviate the burden of electricity expenses for the underprivileged and middle-income groups, but also to foster India’s self-sufficiency in the energy sector.

New Delhi: Upon his return from Ayodhya today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced his intention to initiate a novel program aimed at assisting individuals in installing solar panels on their residences. This decision was motivated by his realization that “all devotees of the world derive energy from the radiance of Suryavanshi Lord Shri Ram.””In the wake of my visit to Ayodhya, the foremost decision I have made is that our government will introduce the ‘Pradhanmantri Suryodaya Yojana,’ which aims to facilitate the installation of rooftop solar panels on one crore houses,” stated PM Modi in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

In his address after leading the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya today, PM Modi expressed that Lord Ram symbolizes “energy” and that today marks the beginning of a “new era”. He emphasized that Ram is not merely a fire, but an embodiment of energy. Furthermore, Ram is not a source of dispute, but a solution. PM Modi emphasized that Ram belongs to everyone, not just a select few. Additionally, he highlighted that the pran pratishtha of Ram Lalla’s idol signifies not only the consecration of Lord Ram, but also the unbreakable unity of India. To celebrate the occasion, PM Modi lit dias at his Delhi home in the evening.

The Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir has been constructed in the conventional Nagara architectural style, with the assistance of 392 pillars and adorned with 44 doors. The pillars and walls beautifully exhibit meticulously carved representations of Hindu gods and goddesses.Temples throughout the nation had declared exclusive celebrations for this auspicious occasion. Indians residing abroad also expressed their joy and enthusiasm. From Washington DC and Paris to Sydney, the Vishva Hindu Parishad organized events in different corners of the globe.
