While recognizing the advantages of advancing technology, the Prime Minister cautioned against the growing threat of cyber fraud. He advised careful handling of new technologies, specifically warning about the deceptive nature of deepfake videos created using Generative AI.
PM Modi stressed the need for global AI frameworks, emphasizing the importance of responsible technology usage and the necessity for cautious evaluation before accepting potentially misleading content like deepfake videos.
Modi, in his address, motivated young innovators by emphasizing the increased global standards following India’s Chandrayaan mission. He urged them to align their innovations with these heightened expectations, noting that the mission had significantly raised the world’s anticipations.
