Bikram, Bihar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in the Pataliputra Lok Sabha constituency, where he criticized the INDIA bloc for allegedly trying to take away reservations from Dalits and backward classes. He accused them of performing “mujra” to appease the Muslim vote bank and enslaving themselves in the process. PM Modi also blamed parties like RJD and Congress for depriving SCs, STs, and OBCs of their quotas in minority institutions.
He further mentioned the opposition alliance’s reliance on those involved in “vote jihad” and referred to the Calcutta High Court’s decision to exclude certain Muslim groups from the OBC list. PM Modi was campaigning for BJP MP Ram Kripal Yadav and sarcastically remarked about those who have an issue with Lord Ram. He urged the people to vote on June 4, emphasizing the significance of their vote in choosing both their MP and PM. PM Modi also took a dig at RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav without explicitly mentioning his name, highlighting the outdated methods of the opposition.
Lalu Prasad Yadav’s eldest daughter Misa Bharti is running for the third consecutive time in Patliputra. India requires a Prime Minister who can represent the country effectively on the global stage. However, the INDIA bloc seems focused on rotating the top position. Various scions from families leading Congress, RJD, NCP, Samajwadi Party, and others are all vying for short periods as Prime Minister.
PM Modi assured the citizens that the next five years would bring rapid development to Bihar, including improved electricity supply and more durable houses. He criticized the previous Congress-led UPA government for failing to provide free foodgrains to the public. PM Modi ridiculed the predictions of several pollsters who anticipate a decrease in the NDA’s seats, stating that the INDIA bloc has already released its exit polls before the elections are over. Soon, they may revert to complaining about EVMs.
