Prime Minister Narendra Modi is gearing up for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, commencing with a rally in Bulandshahr. This rally will mark the beginning of the campaign following the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha Samaroh in Ayodhya. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is determined to reclaim seats in western Uttar Pradesh and anticipates a substantial turnout.
According to sources from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The first electoral rally is scheduled to take place in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh on January 25. This rally will mark the beginning of the election campaign for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, following the Ram Lalla ‘Pran Pratishtha Samaroh’ in Ayodhya on Monday. The party workers and BJP leaders are actively involved in the arrangements, expecting a significant turnout in the city of western Uttar Pradesh. It is worth noting that the BJP currently holds eight out of 14 seats in this region, with defeats in six constituencies in 2019. The Prime Minister is reportedly determined to reverse this trend in the upcoming 2024 elections. By starting the election campaign in Bulandshahr, he aims to establish a connection with the voters and supporters in the areas where the party faced challenges previously, sharing the key to victory.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made a claim that approximately 500,000 individuals will attend Prime Minister Modi’s rally in Bulandshahr. The scheduled public meeting, set to take place on January 25 in Navada village, Bulandshahr, aims to garner support and will include a shooting range field in the Meerut Commissionerate.
In the meantime, following the announcement of an alliance with the Rashtriya Lok Dal for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, Akhilesh Yadav, leader of the Samajwadi Party, has expressed the intention to hold further meetings with the Congress party to determine the seat-sharing formula in the state. Yadav emphasized the importance of a strong “INDIA alliance.”
Yadav recently convened a meeting in Lucknow with party leaders, including former Members of Parliament, former Members of Legislative Assembly, and former Members of Legislative Council. He stressed that the decision on seat allocation would be based on the candidates’ potential to win.
Furthermore, Yadav urged party workers to ensure that supporters of the party are registered in the new voter list. He accused the BJP-led state government of intentionally removing the names of some party workers from the list.
