Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO of Ola’s Bhavish Aggarwal, recently made an announcement on X (formerly Twitter) regarding his upcoming launch, Krutrim AI. In a video address, he extended an invitation to the launch event of Krutrim AI, emphasizing that it will empower 1.4 billion people with the capabilities of artificial intelligence. This new product is being hailed as “India’s first full-stack AI,” as it is built upon local Indian knowledge, languages, and data. The company proudly asserts that Krutrim is India’s very own creation, offering an alternative to Western AI products.

In his X post, Bhavish Aggarwal shared an invitation in multiple languages, showcasing the AI tool’s ability to work with various regional languages. The video is available in English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Marathi. In the invitation, he stated that they will be launching India’s own AI, Krutrim, and expressed their determination to revolutionize industries and lives by placing the power of AI in the hands of 1.4 billion people.

Previously, Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO of Ola, asserted that AI would exert a significant influence on cultural assimilation. He further highlighted the necessity for India to develop its own AI, considering that many prevalent language models are trained on data that is not specific to India. Additionally, he stressed the importance of training AI in diverse “Bharatiya languages”.
