No tension of Return after Chhath Puja, 45 special trains will run from Patna Junction: See here all details !

After Chhath festival, 45 special trains will be run from Patna Junction for the return of passengers. Which will leave for different states and cities with passengers. DRM Jayant Kumar Choudhary gave this information in Danapur divisional office on Friday.

He said that about 50 lakh passengers are expected to return from Monday after Chhath from other stations of Danapur division including Patna Junction.

After Chhath, Railways has expressed the possibility of 2.5 lakh passengers commuting daily for a few days at Patna Junction. In view of the rush of passengers, three temporary waiting rooms are being built at Patna Junction, two at Danapur and one at Rajendra Nagar Terminal. Apart from this, 250 regular trains will also operate from these stations.

ADRM Abhay Raj said that 45 special trains will be run from the junction and 48 from Danapur station for the people returning after Chhath. Three trains each will operate from Rajgir and Arrah

Via Patna station, 47 trains will run for Anand Vihar, 10 for Pune, 14 for Sabarmati, 11-11 for Bengaluru and Mumbai.

There will be no parking around the main entrance of the junction from 20th to 24th November. Instead, there is a parking arrangement on the road leading from GPO Golambar to the railway parcel. There will be a path next to the mosque in New Market for two-wheelers to enter the parking area. Autos and four wheelers will come and go from GPO Golambar.
