Nag Ashwin, renowned for directing the National Award-winning biographical drama Mahanati in 2018, is directing Kalki 2898 – AD. This project marks the first collaboration between Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, while Deepika and Amitabh Bachchan have previously worked together in the 2015 film Piku. Additionally, they will be seen together in the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film The Intern, which originally starred Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro.
