Kangana Ranaut, who has transitioned from an actor to a politician, recently revealed the release date of her upcoming movie “Emergency.” In addition, she took to Instagram on Tuesday to unveil a fresh poster for the film. New release date of Emergency
The poster showcased Kangana portraying former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. She was depicted gazing in a different direction from the camera. The movie is scheduled to premiere on September 7th of this year.

Multiple delays of Emergency
The Lok Sabha Elections caused a delay in the release date last month for the film Emergency, where Kangana serves as the lead actor, writer, director, and producer. Manikarnika Films Production is the production company behind this upcoming political drama, which has faced several delays and was originally set to premiere on November 24, 2023.

Emergency is described as a pivotal moment in India’s political history. The film stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik. Produced by Renu Pitti and Kangana, Emergency is supported by Zee Studios. The screenplay and dialogues are penned by Ritesh Shah, while the music is composed by Sanchit Balhara.
Kangana will be directing Emergency and also starring in the film.
