Mahua Moitra expelled from the Lok Sabha due to allegations of Soliciting Cash in exchange for Questioning.

Parliament Winter Session Live: The Ethics Committee report on Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra in the alleged “cash-for-query” case was presented in the Lok Sabha on the fifth day of the winter session. Following the deliberation on the report, Mahua Moitra was expelled from the lower house through a voice vote, amidst a significant uproar and subsequent walkout by opposition MPs. As a result, the Lok Sabha has adjourned until Monday, 11 December.
Earlier, on Thursday, the Rajya Sabha continued its discussion on the “economic situation in the country,” which was initially raised by Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Derek O’Brien on 5 December. During the discussion, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman highlighted that our second quarter growth has been exceptionally high, surpassing all other countries, and we strive to maintain this momentum.
