Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Linked to Weapon Supply in Baba Siddique Murder: Police !

Guns were supplied to the shooters who killed former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui by Shubham Lonkar, who claimed responsibility for the assassination on social media on behalf of criminal Lawrence Bishnoi.

Pravin Lonkar, Shubham’s brother, was crucial in helping the gunmen by providing both material and logistical support. The two brothers met several times in Pune to plot the murder with a number of accomplices.

The 66-year-old leader was shot and killed on Saturday night as he was leaving his office for his home in Bandra West. Three of the six rounds of shots that were fired at Baba Siddique struck him. The NCP leader was brought to the hospital and later pronounced dead.
According to sources, Shubham Lonkar, Shiv, Dharmaraj, and Gurmail Singh met in Pune to finalize the murder’s specifics. The shooters were first promised no precise payment, but after the murder was successfully carried out, they were guaranteed a substantial sum. Nonetheless, an early payment of Rs 50,000 was made to each shooter to cover operational costs.

The police have established that Baba Siddiqui, not Zeeshan Siddiqui, was the primary target. Baba Siddiqui’s picture and a flex banner were supplied to the gunmen as identification. An investigator with knowledge of the case stated, “They were assured a big reward, but there was no fixed amount promised.”
September saw the arrival of the gunmen in Mumbai; Dharmaraj and Shiv Kumar arrived first, followed later by Gurmail Singh from Haryana. According to reports, Dharmaraj used pepper spray to flee the situation while the attackers fired shots at the NCP leader from a distance of six to seven feet.

Dharmaraj Kashyap shot pepper spray into the air to create a distraction and get away from the scene after shooting Baba Siddique. At first, the shooters got away despite the mayhem.
The veracity of social media posts taking credit for the murder is presently being looked at by the authorities. We have reached out to Facebook and Instagram to confirm whether the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was, as reported, involved.
Authorities are still looking for Mohammad Zeeshan Akhtar, the suspected mastermind, and Shiv, another suspect who is still at large.
