There are numerous Pal hotels in Patna, the capital city of Bihar. A fire incident occurred at Pal Hotel near Patna Junction at approximately 11 am on Thursday. The fire has also spread to the neighboring building. Ongoing efforts are being made to protect Patna Kirana.
In the capital city of Patna, a massive fire erupted in the multi-storey Pal Hotel, situated directly across from the junction, on Thursday morning. The fire broke out at approximately 10:30 AM and within just thirty minutes, the entire building became engulfed in flames and smoke. The fire even spread to the adjacent building, rendering both structures visible only through the haze of fire and smoke. The nearby Patna Kirana store is also at risk of catching fire. Unfortunately, the fire brigade’s efforts to combat this blaze are proving to be inadequate. As a result, a significant traffic jam has formed on the bridge in front of the hotel, and the station road is completely blocked.
Residents claim that the fire was ignited as a result of a cooking gas leak.
According to the locals, the initial cause of the fire was a gas leak beneath the building. Subsequently, the entire structure became engulfed in flames due to the strong gusts of wind. Reports indicate that three individuals sustained burn injuries during this incident. Among the victims, two are young men and one is a girl. Fortunately, numerous individuals have been successfully rescued. However, it is distressing to learn that six people remain trapped inside the building.
