Kia has recently introduced the updated version of the Sonet, which will be available for bookings starting from December 20. In addition to various design changes, the facelifted model now features a new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. However, the large centrally mounted 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system remains unchanged, while a new small screen has been added to display climate control information. The exterior of the car has also been refreshed with new LED headlights, accompanied by Daytime Running Lights, a redesigned bumper, and new 16-inch alloy wheels. The powertrain options remain the same, including a 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine, a 1.0 T-GDi petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. The turbo-petrol and diesel engines are equipped with a 6-speed iMT, while the diesel variant now offers a 6-speed manual gearbox. Additionally, the turbo-petrol and diesel engines are available with a 7-speed dual-clutch and 6-speed torque converter automatic options, respectively. The Sonet facelift continues to offer the same variants as before, including Tech Line, GT Line, and X-Line, which are further divided into HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX, and X-Line versions.
