During an interview, the renowned actor expressed his joy upon witnessing his daughter’s marriage. Sonakshi and her long-term boyfriend, Zaheer Iqbal, tied the knot in a private ceremony at their Bandra apartment in Mumbai on Sunday, June 23.
Following the civil marriage, the couple organized a lavish reception at Bastian in Dadar. When questioned about his happiness, Shatrughan Sinha responded to Times Now, stating, “Is this even a question to ask? Every father eagerly awaits this moment when his daughter is united with her chosen groom. My daughter appears to be the happiest with Zaheer. May their bond remain strong and blessed.”
Sonakshi and Zaheer commemorated their wedding anniversary by posting photos on Instagram, accompanied by a heartfelt message.
