“Jawa Unveils New 350 Model in India Priced at Rs. 2.14 Lakh”

The new Jawa 350 has been introduced in India by Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles at a price of Rs. 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom). This updated model, based on the Jawa Standard, comes with a higher price tag of approximately Rs. 12,000.

One of the major changes in this motorcycle is the replacement of the previous 294cc engine with a larger 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This upgraded engine delivers a peak torque of 28.2Nm and a power output of 22bhp. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox and features an assist and slipper clutch.

The bike’s dimensions have undergone significant changes. The ground clearance has been raised to 178mm, while the seat height now stands at 790mm. Additionally, the wheelbase has been extended to 1,449mm. In comparison, its predecessor had a ground clearance of 165mm, seat height of 765mm, and wheelbase of 1,368mm. Moreover, the bike’s weight has increased from 182kg to 194kg due to the inclusion of a new dual-cradle chassis. To enhance stability, the company has also opted for wider tyres, with a 100/90 section at the front and a 130/80 section at the rear, while maintaining the unchanged 18-17-inch diameter.

In terms of design, the Jawa 350 exhibits subtle changes that give it a more robust appearance, while still retaining its overall stance and silhouette. The tyres are now chunkier, both fenders are more prominent, and the seat appears to have a thicker foam. Additionally, the company has introduced a new Mystique Orange paint scheme alongside the existing Maroon and Black trims.

The Jawa 350 continues to compete with the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB350, and the Benelli Imperiale 400.
