Infinix’s AirCharge technology reportedly facilitates genuine wireless charging within a range of up to 20 centimeters.
Infinix has revealed its intention to introduce two pioneering technologies, AirCharge and Extreme-Temp Battery, at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show 2024 (CES). AirCharge, a novel wireless charging innovation by Infinix, allows users to charge their smart devices wirelessly without the use of cables or direct contact with the charging pad. Operating at low frequencies, this technology enables wireless charging up to a distance of 20 centimeters and can accommodate angular deviations of up to 60 degrees.
The Extreme-Temp Battery, a creation of the Chinese electronics manufacturer, integrates biomimetic electrolyte and fusion solid-state technology on the electrodes to function seamlessly in cold environments, promising reliable performance even at temperatures as low as 40 degrees Celsius.
Infinix intends to showcase these groundbreaking AirCharge and Extreme-Temp Battery technologies at the ShowStoppers event during CES 2024, as stated in their press release. Described as a breakthrough in wireless charging, the AirCharge technology utilizes multi-coil magnetic resonance and an adaptive algorithm, enabling users to charge their devices conveniently, particularly during activities like mobile gaming and video watching.
AirCharge technology offers charging capabilities from 0 to 20 centimeters, accommodating an angular tilt of up to 60 degrees between the transmit and receiving coils. Operating below 6.78MHz, it provides charging power up to 7.5W and is equipped with comprehensive Resonance and Over Voltage Protection (OVP) circuitry for enhanced safety.
