Patna: Extensive preparations are underway for the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Devotees have commenced their pilgrimage to Ayodhya, and in order to ensure a smooth journey for them, the Railways has initiated the operation of multiple trains. Nevertheless, over the past week, there have been ongoing activities at the railway stations surrounding Ayodhya. Consequently, the routes of trains passing through Ayodhya are being altered. As a result, numerous trains originating from Bihar and Jharkhand will not be heading to Ayodhya on the 22nd of January.
These trains were canceled:
04204 Lucknow-Ayodhya Cantt Express special train canceled for 23 and 24 January.
04203 Ayodhya Cantt-Lucknow Express train canceled for January 23 and January 24.
The train routes have been altered:
- 3009 Howrah Jn.-Yoganagari Rishikesh, Doon Express will go via Varanasi-Maa Belha Devi Dham-Pratapgarh-Lucknow via alternate route on 22nd and 23rd January.
- 3010 Yoganagari Rishikesh-Howrah Jn. Doon Express will be run on 22nd January and 23rd January via Lucknow-Pratapgarh-Maa Belha Devi Dham-Varanasi.
- 13151 Kolkata-Jammuthavi Express will run on 22nd January and 23rd January via Varanasi-Maa Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh-Lucknow.
- 13307 Dhanbad Junction-Ferozepur Cantt Ganga Sutlej Express will run on 22nd and 23rd January via Varanasi-Maa Belha Devi Dham-Pratapgarh-Lucknow.
- 13308 Firozpur Cantt-Dhanbad Junction-Ganga Satluj Express will run on 22nd and 23rd January via Lucknow-Maa Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh-Varanasi.
- 15623 Bhagat Ki Kothi-Kamakhya Express will run on 23 January via Lucknow-Maa Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh-Varanasi.
- 18103 Tata Nagar-Amritsar Junction- Jallianwala Bagh Express train will run on January 22 via Varanasi-Maa Belha Devi Dham, Pratapgarh-Lucknow.
- 15636 Guwahati-Okha Dwarka Express will also run on January 22 via Varanasi-Maa Belha Devi Dham-Pratapgarh-Lucknow.
- 22426 Anand Vihar (Termi)- Ayodhya Cantt Vande Bharat Express will pass through Lucknow-Sultanpur route on 22 and 23 January.
- 22425 Ayodhya Cantt-Anand Vihar (Termi) Vande Bharat Express will pass through Lucknow-Sultanpur route on 22nd and 23rd January.
- 13483 will pass through Malda Town-Delhi Jn, Lucknow-Sultanpur route on 22nd and 23rd January.
- Farakka Express, 13484 Delhi Jn. Malda Town Farakka Express will pass through Lucknow-Sultanpur route on 22 and 23 January.
