Indian Railway News: Important update for Bihar Rail Travelers: 50 Trains Affected – check the full list here!

Indian Railways: Passengers aboard trains, take note! A number of Indian Railways’ long-distance trains have had their operations restricted in anticipation of the winter season. The national transporter said in a statement that fog and safety were taken into consideration when making the modifications to train operations.

WILL TRAIN SERVICES BE AFFECTED DURING THE WINTER?

For a period of ninety days, the national transporter has canceled 24 trains, decreased the frequency of over twenty trains, and partially canceled two trains on several routes, including as the New Jalpaiguri-Delhi, Kamakhya-Anand Vihar, and Dehradun-Howrah routes. As a result, travelers are encouraged to plan ahead and purchase tickets.

The East Central Railway (ECR) announced in a statement that some trains were cancelled or partially cancelled and that the number of working days of some trains was decreased in order to ensure safe rail operations due to fog from December 1 to February 28.
