PM Modi honoured Lord Birsa Munda in Ranchi and announced a gift of Rs 24,000 crores. On the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Bhagwan Birsa Munda Memorial Park and Freedom Fighters Museum in Ranchi. CM Hemant Soren, Union Tribal Welfare Minister Arjun Munda, and Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan were also present during the visit.
Prime Minister Modi is set to launch development projects worth Rs 24,000 crore that are specifically aimed at benefiting the vulnerable tribal class. The ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ will be initiated by PM Modi from Jharkhand. Additionally, PM Modi will release an instalment of Rs 18,000 crore for the PM Kisan Yojana and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth Rs 7,200 crore in the state. On the occasion of Jharkhand Day, PM Modi expressed his admiration for the state’s mineral mining and the bravery, courage, and self-respect of its people. He also extended his best wishes to the people of Jharkhand for a bright future.
