The Varanasi court has granted permission to Hindu devotees to conduct their worship rituals within the ‘Vyas Ka Tekhana’, a restricted area within the Gyanvapi mosque. The court has instructed the district administration to ensure all required arrangements are made within the upcoming week.
A court in Varanasi has granted permission for Hindu devotees to worship in the sealed basement of Gyanvapi mosque. According to the court’s ruling, Hindu devotees are now able to offer prayers at ‘Vyas Ka Tekhana’, a sealed area within Varanasi’s Gyanvapi mosque.
During the court hearing earlier today, the district administration was also instructed to make the necessary preparations within the next seven days.
Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, who represents the Hindu side, stated to reporters, “The Hindu side has been granted permission to offer prayers at ‘Vyas Ka Tekhana’. The District Administration has been given seven days to make the necessary arrangements. Everyone will now have the right to perform puja.”
