Sharda Peeth Shankaracharya Swami Sadanand Saraswati has addressed the controversy surrounding Shankaracharya’s absence from the consecration ceremony at Ayodhya’s Ram temple. According to him, their decision to not attend the event was not due to any anger, but rather because of the arrangements made for the ceremony. In an exclusive interview with India TV, he stated that they will certainly visit Shri Ramlala for darshan at a later time.
Furthermore, he emphasized that it was not suitable for the Shankaracharyas to be present in such a large gathering. Hence, all four Shankaracharyas collectively deemed it inappropriate to attend. They have acknowledged the regulations and assured that Shankaracharya will definitely visit Ayodhya after the consecration ceremony.
The Opposition receives a fitting reply from Shankaracharya:
In response to the statement made by Opposition leaders regarding the absence of Shankaracharyas in Ayodhya, he expressed that the opposition leaders made a conscious decision not to go there, and now they are attempting to conceal their decision. He emphasized that politics should not be involved in matters concerning Shankaracharya’s Ram. He assured that there will be no obstacles in the life of any individual and that the moment when the Lord takes his seat is highly auspicious. He mentioned the presence of knowledgeable individuals who determine the appropriate time for Pran Pratistha, and expressed that it would have been preferable if the auspicious time had been considered earlier. He concluded by stating that now is not the appropriate time to consider Muhurta.

Swami Sadanand Saraswati expressed his joy over the life consecration of Ram Lala, stating that this awaited moment had been anticipated for 500 years. He emphasized the importance of the people of the country participating in the Pran Pratistha. Additionally, Shankaracharya acknowledged that PM Modi had initiated the circle, affirming that he was fulfilling his duties as a Prime Minister.
