Reliance Jio has revealed an increase in mobile tariffs ranging from 12-27 percent, along with limiting the availability of unlimited free 5G services for its customers. These new rates are set to take effect on July 3, 2024, marking the company’s first tariff adjustment in two and a half years. The lowest recharge plan will see a price hike of approximately 27 percent or Rs 19, while annual recharge plans will experience a 20-21 percent increase amounting to Rs 340. Medium-range mobile service plans will also see a tariff increase of 19-21 percent.

Jio has announced that the unlimited 5G data will be accessible on all plans with a daily data limit of 2GB or more. Starting from the 3rd of July, 2024, customers can choose the new plans through various touchpoints and channels that are currently available.
