Indian Railways continues to make significant decisions daily to ensure the convenience of the public and smooth transportation. In light of the upcoming festivals and the increasing number of passengers, Railways has announced the operation of five special trains for Eid. Details regarding the routes and schedules of these trains are as follows:
- A special train will run from Patna to Kolkata, departing from Patna on 09 April 2024 at 12:15 and arriving in Kolkata at 23:25 via Bakhtiyarpur, Mokama, and Jhajha. The train number is 03136, known as the Patna-Kolkata Special Train.
- Another special train will operate from Muzaffarpur to Howrah, departing from Muzaffarpur on 09 April 2024 at 13:00 and reaching Howrah at 13:20 via Samastipur, Barauni, Kiul, and Jhajha. The train number is 03046, named the Muzaffarpur-Howrah Special Train.
- Additionally, a special train will run from Jaynagar to Nandurbar, departing from Jaynagar at 02:00 on 10 April 2024 and arriving in Nandurbar at 00:00 on 11 April 2024 via Darbhanga, Samastipur, Barauni, Mokama, Patna, and DDU. The train number is 09040, known as the Jaynagar-Nandurbar Unreserved Special Train.
An unreserved special train service from Bhagalpur to Nandurbar has been scheduled to depart at 11 pm on April 10, 2024, and is expected to arrive in Nandurbar at 7 am on April 12, passing through Kiul, Mokama, Patna, and DDU along the way.
