Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently undertaking a two-day tour of South India. Today, he arrived in Andhra Pradesh and paid a visit to the Veerbhadra Temple in Lepakshi, where he offered his prayers. Additionally, he took the opportunity to listen to the verses of Ranganatha Ramayana in Telugu language. Following his visit to Andhra Pradesh, PM Modi will proceed to Kerala. In a social media post, he mentioned his intention to listen to the verses of Ranganatha Ramayana in Telugu language and also inaugurate the new campus of the National Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics Academy. Furthermore, the Prime Minister announced his plans to visit Kerala on January 17. On this day, he will offer prayers at the Guruvayuri temple and the Thriprayar Sri Ramaswamy temple in Kochi. Subsequently, he will address a public meeting in Kochi, during which several significant projects will be inaugurated.
PM Modi is placing a significant emphasis on South India, particularly in light of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. It is noteworthy that the opposition’s presence is more prominent in South India compared to the North. In order to tackle this, Prime Minister Modi has embarked on a tour of South India. On January 13, he joyously celebrated the Pongal festival at the residence of Union Minister Murugal, and on December 25, he also partook in Christmas festivities with the people of Kerala.
