Dunki’s pre-booking surpasses Salaar, generating a revenue of ₹7.4 crore on opening day !

The collision between Shah Rukh Khan’s highly anticipated third film of the year and Prabhas’ intense dystopian thriller is bound to be monumental, to put it mildly. The pre-booking status for both movies is still robust. Dunki has garnered a staggering ₹7.36 crore on its opening day, while Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire has amassed ₹6 crore across all languages, according to reports on Sacnilk.com. Dunki is set to hit theaters on December 21, with Salaar following suit on December 22.

Dunki’s advance booking status reveals that a total of 251,146 tickets have been sold for 9,658 shows throughout India. This impressive figure amounts to ₹7.36 crore for the film, which has been exclusively released in Hindi.

On the other hand, Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire has garnered ₹5.99 crore on its opening day. A total of 246,772 tickets have been sold for 4,338 shows across India. The revenue includes ₹1.11 crore from 35,946 tickets for Hindi shows and ₹3.5 crore from 129,010 tickets for Telugu shows. Additionally, the film is also being released in Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam, with the advance booking for these languages gradually gaining momentum. Notably, tickets worth ₹12 lakh for Tamil shows, ₹9.9 lakh for Kannada shows, and ₹98 lakh for Malayalam shows have already been sold.
