Shah Rukh Khan’s film Dunki continues to gain momentum at the box office, despite facing tough competition from Prabhas’ Salaar. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Dunki earned Rs 29.20 crore on its opening day, followed by Rs 20.12 crore on its first Friday and Rs 25.61 crore on its first Saturday.

In India, Dunki has collected Rs 108 crore at the box office, while its worldwide collection stands at an estimated Rs 215 crore. On Sunday, the film recorded a Hindi occupancy rate of 49.67 percent, with an increase in the evening. With Monday being a holiday due to Christmas, it is expected that the film will perform well at the ticket counters. This film also marks the first collaboration between Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan. Sunday proved to be the most successful day for Dunki, both domestically and internationally.

Dunki is Shah Rukh Khan’s third release of the year, following the blockbuster hits Jawan and Pathaan. However, both Jawan and Pathaan had higher opening numbers, earning 128.23 crores and Rs 127.50 crores respectively within the first two days.

Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel, had a remarkable start with an impressive opening day collection of Rs 90 crores. As per Sacnilk, the film continued its successful run and earned Rs 61 crores on Sunday, bringing the total box-office collection in India to Rs 208 crores.
