This is Shah Rukh Khan’s third release of the year, following Pathaan in January and Jawan in September. The film’s premiere took place at Mumbai’s renowned Gaiety Galaxy theater, with the first show starting at 5.55 am. Fans have made sure that the opening of SRK’s latest film is a grand celebration.
Videos and pictures of the enthusiastic celebration by SRK fans have gone viral on social media. In these videos, a large crowd can be seen dancing to the beats of dhol and setting off fireworks to mark the release of Dunki. A giant cutout of SRK was also displayed at the venue. Overwhelmed by the love and excitement of his fans, Shah Rukh expressed his gratitude on X, saying, “Thank you all for your support. I hope you enjoy watching #Dunki.”
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki also features Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani. The film has been co-written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon. It tells the heartwarming story of four friends – Manu, Sukhi, Buggu, and Balli – who aspire to settle down in London for a better life. However, they must embark on a challenging yet transformative journey to achieve their dreams.
