New Delhi: Former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam received a touching homage from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, who described his life as an inspiration to all Indians.
On the occasion of his birth anniversary, honorable honors are paid to the esteemed scientist and former president, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam ji. In a post on X, Prime Minister Modi stated, “His vision and ideas will significantly contribute to realizing the goal of a Viksit Bharat.”
In the post, Prime Minister Modi included a video of the two leaders together and complimented Dr. Kalam for accepting difficulties.
Abdul Kalam was naturally good at two things: simplicity and ease. In this world, there are two kinds of people: those who seek difficulties and those who seek chances. Abdul Kalam constantly looked for difficulties, the prime minister stated, highlighting how this quality shaped Kalam’s existence.
PM Modi went on to highlight Dr. Kalam’s exceptional accomplishments, pointing out that it was uncommon for someone to receive a “Rashtra Ratna” (Jewel of the Nation) prior to becoming Rashtrapati (President).
The Prime Minister said, “This distinction speaks volumes about the extraordinary life and accomplishments of Abdul Kalam.”
Thinking back to a personal experience, PM Modi recalled a time when Dr. Kalam was asked about his preferred legacy.
“He just said, ‘I want to be known as a teacher,’ in response. The Prime Minister said, “This response not only demonstrated his profound respect for teachers but also highlighted his unwavering convictions and lifetime commitments.”
In closing, PM Modi reaffirmed the country’s commitment to preserving the principles that Dr. Kalam had taught. With Abdul Kalam’s blessings, we’ll work to fulfill the objectives outlined in his teachings. This will be the most fitting homage to him,” he declared.
