Chiranjeevi expresses his gratitude to PM Modi after being honored with the “Padma Vibhushan” , leaving him speechless.

132 individuals, including veteran actor Chiranjeevi, were recently bestowed with Padma awards by the government on Republic Day.

Chiranjeevi, who received the prestigious Padma Vibhushan, expressed his deep appreciation and thanks to his fans and well-wishers through a video statement. Overwhelmed by the honor, he described himself as “speechless” and expressed his gratitude for the unconditional love and support he has received from his audience, friends, and family. Chiranjeevi acknowledged that he has always tried to show his gratitude in various ways, but feels that it can never truly be enough.

In his illustrious film career spanning 45 years, the megastar has always strived to entertain his audience to the best of his abilities. Off-screen, he has also dedicated himself to helping the less fortunate by actively participating in social and humanitarian causes. Despite feeling that he has done very little, he is immensely grateful for the recognition and honor bestowed upon him by his fans. He remains forever indebted to their love and support.

Expressing his gratitude, Chiranjeevi extends his thanks to the government of India and the honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji for the prestigious Padma Vibhushan award. He considers it a moment of great pride and appreciation. Concluding his statement, he says, “Thank you. Jai Hind.”

Chiranjeevi’s journey in the film industry began with the 1978 movie Punadhirallu, but it was the film Sindhooram in 1997 that catapulted him to stardom. Throughout his remarkable career spanning over four decades, he has acted in more than 150 feature films in various languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada. Some of his notable films include Rudra Veena, Indra, Tagore, Swayam Krushi, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Stalin, and Gang Leader.

Apart from Chiranjeevi, another esteemed actor, Vyjayanthimala, will also be honored with the Padma Vibhushan. She is widely regarded as one of the finest actors in Indian cinema and has graced the silver screen with her talent in films from the 1950s and 1960s. Some of her notable works include Devdas, Naya Daur, Aasha, Sadhna, Gunga Jumna, Sangam, and Jewel Thief.
