Bihar Chief Secretary Aamir Subhani announced on Monday that over 600 investors from India and 15 other countries will be attending the ‘Global Investor Summit’ in Patna, the state capital. The summit, known as ‘Bihar Business Connect-2023’, aims to position Bihar as an attractive global investment destination. The event, organized by the state industries department, will feature discussions on priority sectors, visits to industrial areas, and high-level meetings with state leaders. Sandeep Poundrick, Additional Chief Secretary of the Industries Department, revealed that representatives from 15 countries, including the United States, Taiwan, Japan, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates, will be participating in the two-day conference. Bihar is anticipating investments of over Rs 30,000 crore during the summit, and the department will be signing memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with the investors.
