In a significant revelation, the EOU has apprehended approximately 300 candidates, while five members of the cheating gang have been arrested. All five individuals involved in the crime are reported to be residents of Bihar. Further investigation has uncovered that the cheating gang intended to help over 270 candidates pass the exam by leaking the paper. These candidates were accommodated in Kohinoor Hotel, located under Pelawal police station, where they memorized the answers to the question paper using a projector. Following the news of the paper leak, candidates are now demanding the cancellation of the exam and a re-examination.

The examination authorities discovered that the question papers confiscated at the scene were an exact match to the Teacher Recruitment 3.O paper obtained from the BPSC office. This indicates that the paper had been leaked a day prior to the exam. As part of the investigation into the paper leak, approximately 270 candidates from Hazaribad, Jharkhand were apprehended and transported to Bihar on Friday. On Saturday, the EOU team conducted raids in various districts, including Patna and Hajipur.

Simultaneously, the police brought the arrested suspects involved in the BPSC paper leak case to the civil court situated in the Pirbahor police station area for a late-night hearing. Bihar Police has released a press statement detailing the entire sequence of events that occurred between March 13 and 15. Consequently, the candidates are now demanding the cancellation of BPSC Teacher Recruitment 3.O.

According to reports, these individuals were involved in leaking the examination paper to the candidates and assisting them in memorizing the answers in exchange for a contract worth Rs 10 to 10 lakh. It has been revealed that the students already possessed the question paper and had been receiving instruction for the past two days. Upon the arrival of the police at the hotel, the candidates were found engaged in memorizing the answers using a projector.

Jharkhand Police gave this information

Arvind Kumar Singh, the Superintendent of Police in Hazaribagh, has provided an update stating that the students are currently undergoing interrogation. This investigation is in relation to a paper leak incident. The authorities are now determining whether the question paper found in possession of the students was indeed used in the examination. Additionally, efforts are being made to establish contact with the Bihar Police regarding this matter. The administration has halted the students in two vehicles, with some vehicles being stopped near Nagwan toll plaza. The interrogation of the students is taking place at a undisclosed location.
