However, a video from this program has now become viral. In the video, a BJP MP can be seen handing over the keys of a house provided under the ‘PM Awas Yojana’ to an elderly woman. During this interaction, the MP asked a question that left both the administration and the MP himself feeling embarrassed upon hearing the woman’s response.
While presenting the keys of the house, MP Dharmendra Kashyap inquired about the woman’s feelings after receiving the house. The woman responded positively, stating that she felt good. The MP then proceeded to ask whether anyone had taken any money. The woman admitted that she had indeed received a sum of 30 thousand rupees. This exchange took place in front of a microphone, capturing the attention of those present.
Upon hearing the woman’s admission, the MP chuckled, causing others to become alert. He emphasized that this was a serious matter and requested the woman to provide information regarding who had given her the money. As a result, this video has now spread across social media platforms, leading to people mocking the incident.
The District Magistrate of Badaun, Manoj Kumar, has taken note of the seriousness of the matter after the video went viral and has requested an investigation. Manoj Kumar has assigned the investigation of this issue to Additional District Magistrate Administration VK Singh.
