“BJP Leaders Revel in ‘Modi Magic’: Prime Minister Secures Top Spot as World’s Most Popular Leader with 76% Approval”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again been recognized as the most popular leader globally, as stated by the US-based Decision intelligence company. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders have attributed this to the “Modi magic,” which has also been acknowledged by an international survey conducted by ‘Morning Consult’. According to this survey, Modi’s global approval rating stands at an impressive 76 percent.

Shehzad Poonawala, the BJP national spokesperson, highlighted that even after the recent assembly election results in five states, an international survey has commended Modi’s governance and delivery model. Poonawala further emphasized that Modi’s popularity remained high even during challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic, while other world leaders experienced a decline in their support.

Poonawala attributed Modi’s popularity to his ability to drive development and economic growth, while effectively managing inflation and uplifting over 135 million people out of poverty. He confidently stated that this approval rating will be evident in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

“Our leaders are the most popular leaders in the world,” Union Minister G Kishan Reddy wrote in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. “With 76% rating, PM Shri @narendramodi once again tops the global approval ratings and becomes the “world’s most popular leader”.

Modi’s extensive experience in administration and legislation, coupled with his compassionate leadership, has endeared him to millions of Indians. CT Ravi, a BJP leader, lauds Modi as a “karma yogi” who garners high approval ratings due to his unwavering dedication, visionary approach, and tireless efforts to transform the nation. Ravi further asserts that PM Modi is now sought after by the entire world for guidance and solutions to their problems.

Previously, Modi has consistently been the most popular leader among surveyed government officials. However, the latest survey indicates a slight decline in his approval rating, which currently stands at 78 percent as of November 20.

The approval ratings provided by the US-based company are derived from a seven-day moving average of adult residents in each country, with sample sizes varying across nations. In India, the sample size ranges from approximately 500 to 5,000. The data for this survey was collected between November 29 and December 5.

According to the survey findings, Mexican leader Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador secured the second position in the popularity chart with a 66 percent approval rating, followed by Swiss leader Alain Berset with a 58 percent approval rating.
